20) WORKING FROM A SCRIPT 1 - THE TASK

 This is our script that we were given on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. As soon as we were given this, we started off by reading the script through and brainstorming any ideas in which we might have to make this short film come together. We then started thinking about allocating roles to each other within the film studies team. They are as follows:

*Director - Joe Lee*

Joe decided to be director as:

1. It is one of his ambitions in later life

2. He is a good team leader

3. He likes to keep everyone in control

*Co-director - Lauren Webb*

1. For a second opinion

2. To ensure everything runs smoothly.

*Producer(s) - Lucy Foreman and Keri Kennett*

Lucy and Keri decided to be the producers as:

1. They thought it would be efficient to have a joint effort to ensure everything gets done in the set time given.

2. To make sure everything is presented to the highest quality possible.

*Film Crew - Ellie Wigney and Emily New*

Emily and I have decided to be the film crew as:

1. Having a joint effort ensures we are always able to film even if another one isn't present.

2. To get the best angles in our locations and refer to each others knowledge for second opinions.

*Lighting - Emily New*

Emily feels like she is able for the role as:

1. She is interested in the lighting and focal aspect of film

2. She is experienced in her photography projects with different types of lighting.

*Props - EVERYONE*

We are all going to supply individual props for all of the filming. This will include:

-Fake Snow - Emily New

-Embroidered Handkerchief - Lauren Webb

-Wood chips - Aston Jones

-Plates and Cutlery - Emily New
-Portrait - Emily New
*Costume and Make up - Justine and Ellie*
We feel good for the role as we are both creative and will make sure their clothing looks suitable to the time period.
